Pottery Summer Camp for
Kids Entering
1st-9th Grades

Campers enjoy creating hand-built projects out of clay slabs, working with varied art media, and new in 2026: campers can experiment with throwing clay on a professional wheel! We spend a lot of time playing outside, enjoying summer in lush forests, sunny fields, and tranquil woodlands.

All experience levels welcome!

Maximum Camp Size: 8 Artists

One-of-a-kind Art Camp

Projects

Monday: Choose 3-4 of the following hand-built projects: bowl, nesting ramekins, spoon rest, saucer, coasters, trivet, ornament, or free-form sculpture
Tuesday: Wheel throwing & watercolor
Wednesday: Glazes hand-built projects after bisque fired to cone 06. All work refired to cone 6. Food-safe glazes are microwave and dishwasher safe
Thursday: Wheel throwing & chalk pastel
Friday: Unveiling of hand-built projects. Independent multi-media projects

Walks through the forest and Arnold Creek to sunny fields and playground at Stephenson Elementary, and woodland hikes in Maricara Natural Area
